Carolina Global Photography Exhibition Opening Reception 2012

This exhibition featured amateur photography from around the world taken by UNC students, faculty, staff and alumni. Whether it was the majesty of Mount Everest, the joy of friendship among Indian ladies, the beauty of a leopard ready to pounce or the resourcefulness of children in Bangladesh, these images captured our common links of humanity and drew attention to subjects often neglected by conventional media. The opening reception featured a variety of dishes from around the world, and attendees were able to take their photo with international props and backgrounds.
All photography on display was submitted as part of the Carolina Global Photography Competition Fall 2011.
This exhibit was hosted by the UNC Center for Global Initiatives, UNC Study Abroad and UNC Global.
